About the Artist

Antoine Dufilho is a self-taught French sculptor who has worked full-time in sculpture since 2012. His signature method stacks metal layers into a part-solid, part-void structure, so that a static car appears to gather and dissolve as you move around it — an illusion of speed frozen in metal. Automobiles and aviation are his principal subjects.
